Prologue
Her breath fogging up the bottom of her visor, the soldier deftly made her way across the face of the asteroid. Just a few hours ago, Space Station Liberty sent word to the Vindicator about the hostage situation: a dozen pirates seized a small mining facility and are holding the miners ransom. The 20th Tactical Space Corps is to rescue the hostages and neutralize the pirates with maximum efficiency. And so here Sergeant Jennifer Mironda was, shuffling across a dusty rock with almost no gravity and nothing between her and vacuum but her Combat Battle Armor. Her specific job: to make a door.

Green forests stretching as far as the eye can see,

Rocky and grey, like any mount you can devise,
The forest climbs up and covers the rocks with vines.
Fields of Loreyu open their spiral leaf to the sky,

Slowly the Anemonids turn, following invisible lines,
And the Helicoradians pull themselves into the ground.
Breathing in the pungent smell, the Pa'li drinks the nectar with his tongue,
While behind it the Thanator roams.
Stalking through the bushes the Palulukan readies a pounce,

It turned into a very long meeting at church. Granted it both started and ended exactly when it was supposed to; that wasnt the problem. Drawing every minute out to an eternity was Builds overactive mind. He was searching through my memories so furiously that I was getting flashbacks. Between memories he would stare at Julia until she would look back; hed then avert his gaze. It was a good thing I could pay attention to the talks, otherwise Builds would have missed everything.

The sun was streaming through the window right onto our face. Despite the valiant effort from both of us there was no way to stay asleep. Builds groaned a bit as he rolled out of the bed, then once our feet were under us he stumbled his way to the kitchen for breakfast. A few minutes later both bacon and sausage was sizzling in the pan while a bagel toasted.
